Senior Full Stack Development Engineer
Working location: Guangzhou, ChinaProject overview: We are developing a cutting-edge high-performance trading card game (TCG) certified mobile application. The platform uses advanced computer vision technology, allowing users to scan physical cards with their smartphone camera, instantly identify and obtain market prices, and seamlessly manage digital collectibles.
As a senior full-stack developer, you will have a major impact on this project. You will have complete control over the user experience journey - from building low-latency mobile interfaces to interact with device cameras, to designing scalable backend APIs and data pipelines to support the overall application experience.
Core responsibilities
Team Leader: Lead a development team of 3 to 5 people
End-to-end development: Build, build and maintain cross-platform mobile frontends, and provide powerful backend APIs to support them.
Camera and interface integration: Achieve high-performance mobile camera interface, overlay real-time interface, and ensure smooth and instant card scanning.
Backend and API design: Design and optimize scalable microservices, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and database architectures to handle high traffic and real-time price updates.
Data and pipeline collaboration: Integrate front-end experience with back-end image processing and machine learning pipelines to achieve real-time card recognition.
Performance optimization: Optimize mobile app performance (frame rate, memory usage, video caching) and backend latency to provide a high-quality user experience.
Technical leadership: Improve code quality through strict code review, establish comprehensive engineering best practices, and guide junior and mid-level engineers.
Requirements for qualification
Experience: With over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, and successfully delivered production-ready mobile applications and backend systems.
Front-end/Mobile technology stack: Familiar with cross-platform mobile frameworks (Flutter/React Native) and able to handle native device features (camera API, image processing, local storage).
Backend technology stack: Proficient in Java, RocketMQ and gRPC, and with in-depth understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL and Redis).
System architecture: Designing distributed systems, microservices, secure authentication (OAuth/JWT), and third-party API integration.
Cloud and DevOps: Familiar with cloud infrastructure (GCP), containerization technology (Docker), and mobile CI/CD deployment processes (App Store/Google Play versions).
Education background: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related technical fields.
